16 Year Old Raises Lyme Disease Awareness with 680km Wilderness Hike

From Lyme Disease Association of Australia:

“16 year old Ally Durr crosses the finish line to complete her 680km wilderness trek to raise awareness and funds for research. You can check out her amazing achievements – overcoming lost track markers, overgrown tracks, lightning storms, vertical climbs instead of tracks, catastrophic bush fire warnings, and the logistics of dropping off food and water for the 680km trek.

Well done to all the Durr family, but especially to Tracey, Jacinta & Greg for their untiring logistical support for Ally, and Jack & Dean who walked part of the track with Ally when it wasn’t safe to do it on her own. ”

Stop by her website to see her pictures and videos, how much money Ally raised for Lyme Research and all the help she had from her family and other who supported her!
