Brandon Jeffrey Crain of Cadillac passed away at his home after a long battle with Chronic Lyme Disease. He was 37. Brandon was born February 24, 1978 in Livonia, Michigan.
He graduated from Olathe East High School in Olathe, Kansas and went on to graduate from the Culinary Institute of America in Hyde Park, New York. He worked as chef in many upscale dining establishments. He was especially proud of his time as the executive chef at Pierpont’s at Union Station in Kansas City, Missouri.
Brandon loved being a father and enjoyed spending time with his sons. He was a talented musician and gifted artist. He had a passion for helping others and rose to the occasion following Hurricane Katrina; supporting food drives for those in need.
