Dealing with Negative People?

LIFE IS A THEATER

Invite Your Audience Carefully

Not everyone is healthy enough to have a front row seat in our lives.
There are some people in your life that need to be loved from a DISTANCE.
It’s amazing what you can accomplish when you let go of, or at least
minimize your time with, draining, negative, incompatible,
not-going-anywhere relationships/friendships.
Observe the relationships around you. Pay attention.
Which ones lift and which ones lean?
Which ones encourage and which ones discourage?
Which ones are on a path of growth uphill and which ones are going downhill?
When you leave certain people do you feel better or feel worse?
Which ones always have drama or don’t really understand, know or appreciate you?
The more you seek quality, respect, growth, peace of mind, love and truth around you…the easier it will become for you to decide who gets to sit in the front row and who should be moved to the balcony of Your Life.
“If you cannot change the people around you, CHANGE the people you are around.”
Remember that the people we hang with will have an impact on both our lives and our income. And so we must be careful to choose the people we hang out with, as well as the information with which we feed our minds.
We should not share our dreams with negative people, Nor feed our dreams with negative thoughts.
It’s your choice and your life….. It’s up to you who and what you let in it……

  1. Early on with this illness, I realized it wasn’t healthy to look back longingly at the life I had before. I began learning about new exciting things to replace the old activities I used to enjoy. This was very helpful. I oversaw some home improvement projects, not least of which was re-landscaping. I can’t begin to tell you all the joyful moments I’ve had in my yard

I also significantly stepped up my meditation practice, and have had countless joyful revelations, some of which inspired me to develop new strategies for living around my (non 9-5) condition. Limiting beliefs just seemed to brush off.

I swear, I had “downloads” over an app I’d like to bring to market, seeing an enormous chart of all the intricacies at once. I also “got” the inspiration for three children’s books and began the drawings for the characters with whom I feel a genuine connection. I spent hours under the evening sky considering the character’s arc and visualizing how I could illustrate them in various situations. I enjoyed bantering web ideas for the small business owners who were helping me around the house. In many respects, I’d never been so excited about life and its possibilities, regardless of my daily limitations.

I really wish I could identify what shifted two months ago. Aside from various new symptoms, it is as if I am looking at another person’s life when I think of these things. It is as though a switch has been thrown, and I can’t access what has sustained me for the past couple of years.

I have this InnerBalance thing that helps you reach coherence between the electromagnetic fields produced by your heart and brain. It’s really cool. Positive thinking will only get you so far, but when dwelling upon things for which I have genuine gratitude, coherence happens. Unfortunately, as of late, it has been taking me inordinately long to get there, and the result has been less sustainable.

There are many things I am thankful for over the course of my life. I had good parents who did their best and had no problem identifying foolishness. They were hard working and enjoyed others. My mom was generous to a fault. I’ve been blessed with a loving wife and son, good friends, and some of the best dogs to ever have set paw on this planet. I’ve been able to travel a bit and enjoy the indulgences of various hobbies. Of course, there’s also been heartaches and disappointments, but overall, I’ve been blessed.

Now, if I could only cross back over the mental divide to the land of creative inspiration …
