Delaware Lyme Bill News!

Delaware upped it’s standards for Lyme disease care this month when Gov. Jack Markell (D) signed two bills into law.
One bill, House Bill 290 w/HA 1, allows state environmental officials to kill ticks that carry the disease.
The other bill, House Bill 291 w/HA 1, HA 2 + SA 2 requires doctors, nurses and others to learn more about Lyme disease as part of their continuing education.
