Everyone affected by Lyme and coinfections has needs that for some, boggle the mind. I have so many but I try not to dwell on it. It isn’t easy, and I am not always successful, but I try to focus on my blessings and do what I can to help myself and others, when I can. This disease has robbed me of so much but I am so grateful to be alive and to have the wonderful husband that I do. If not for him, I would be homeless and well, probably dead so I wouldn’t be homeless exactly but I’m not ready for that final resting spot!
I think it’s wonderful to have this holiday wish list. I have so many financial needs but that is not what I want for Christmas. I’ve recently lost my mom and grandmother and family is scattered. I’m pretty much isolated and don’t socialize much. Been too sick to make new friends. Sometimes, when I can, I go to the store just to talk to somebody. So. What I would really like is to get Christmas cards and or notes. I got three cards last year. I know it doesn’t seem like much, but a little human contact with people that know how it is, and something in the mailbox besides endless bills would be the most priceless gift I could hope to receive.
Needs: Would love to get Christmas cards and notes.
Thank you very much and Merry Christmas to all and Happy Holidays.
