  1. I was wondering if there were any articles showing evidence that Lyme can be carried by spiders? Was bitten by a brown recluse spider and shortly after became very sick and then had bells palsy. Tested positive for both Lyme tests. I’ve had a few tell me absolutely only way to get Lyme was tick. Wanting to prove I know better ; )

    1. Sandy, its really hard to find reserach showing that it can be transmitted from spiders. but I have heard this again and again. And God only knows what other infections they have not studied to that spiders might carry too like bartonella, babesia and more.. Here are some research links in here that show that mites, fleas and mosquitos carry Lyme and Im not sure if they include spiders or not. http://whatislyme.com/research-links/

Also if you google it there are some articles by Dr Klinhardt pointing in the direction of “yes” to spiders/

  2. I’m looking for an Infectious Disease Doctor in Nairobi, Kenya who can treat Lyme. Can you send me some referrals please?

  3. I had to threaten our district with a law suit last summer to get the school nurse to stop bullying my daughter. We did finally get her schedule modified so she can take a few classes on line at home and
others during the morning at school. Most school nurses are too poorly trained to recognize the symptoms that young people present with in Lyme. And many are CDC only types. Homeschooling is good if you can do it but very isolating for the child.

    1. My lil one has it, she slso has Rheumatoid Arthritis from it. She already has Autism, epilepsy and ADHD , I have had chronic Lyme Disease since I was very young. We are going the home schooling route because the special needs school she is in does no good. School nurses are useless. You can create your own social settings for them and do field trips ūüôā

  4. This site was just posted on a FB support group. Has it helped anyone with kids to send the articles/links to their district’s school nurse? I have found out of anyone, she is the person with the least compassion and empathy. We maybe going the Homeschool route anyway but I was just wondering.

    2. also if you feel they cant educate your child during illness you have the right to put him out of district and they legaly have to pay for it!!!!
