1960 – 2015
Mike Brochin aka Six-Way Lymie
From Mike’s Obituary:
“Informally known to his friends as Mike, he was a man of many passions and interests — most notably music, which defined his life. Michael had a career long embedded in the music industry and was the sole owner, network creator, and music video programmer for The Metal Network, Social Music Net, Rock And Metal Dot Com, and Music Portal Dot Com. He was also the owner, creator, and publisher of Internet Music Media, as well as an ASCAP-affiliated songwriter. From 1980 to 1981, he was involved with a successful American Alternative Power Pop band called “Doug Derek And The Hoax.” With a career full of diversity, he worked for his father at Arnold’s Boot Shops in Connecticut during his earlier years, was the independent publisher for Baseball Card Update magazine for Time Warner, and was most recently employed at Anthony’s Pizza & Pasta in Evergreen, CO, which he greatly enjoyed.
Michael derived great pleasure from helping other people his entire life and had a great love for animals since he was a young child. He moved with his wife and son to Colorado in 1997, where he had previously taken his honeymoon trip. The state’s unique beautiful scenery and views inspired his love for hiking and he became active in local hiking groups. A big fan of movies and sports, Michael had great curiosity and a thirst for knowledge. His passionate spirit and unconventional sense of humor will be profoundly missed. May he rest in peace.”

Mike’s Obituary

From his Youtube video:
“I am the male panel guest on this show, and I believe it is one of the most revealing, in-depth early shows to have ever been nationally broadcast about OCD, imho. Unfortunately, this unedited (and more insightful, imho) full hour aired just a single time on WTNH-TV in New Haven, Connecticut on July 13th, 1988. Once again, the “OCD & Mend Association” (later to be called “The Obsessive Compulsive Disorder Foundation”) were vital in making this nationally-broadcast show happen right in their own home base of New Haven.
I later found out — and it is my very strong opinion now — that the bulk of the more severe cases of OCD are due to what almost killed me twice: Misdiagnosed/undiagnosed Lyme Disease. I welcome any questions and/or comments.” ~Mike
