What’s Happening in Ohio this month for Lyme Awareness?

Two very dedicated members or our Lyme community really pulled off some great Lyme awareness at the Ashland Balloonfest in Ohio this past week. Crystal, and her daughter Katie arranged to have a Lyme awareness hot air balloon launch on the behalf of Ohio Lyme Aware, a new non profit. Also a special thanks to Katie’s class mates coming out to help with this project!  Check out the pictures below! The attendance was amazing, 10,000 on Thursday,  12,000 Friday, and Saturday between 12,500 and 20,000 so for the weekend easily over 25,000 in attendance this event proved to be a great step ahead in teaching others about Lyme disease.

Next, on July 17th, and 18th Crystal and Katie will be handing out over 3,000 Lyme fliers at Bob Evans. There will also be a Lyme support group meeting on July 9th at the  Ashland County City Health Dept State Route 60, Ashland 6:00 pm.
