A Good Way to Fundraise for Yourself

Two Options for Fundraising

Hey everyone,

As more and more people are getting sick with Lyme disease and other chronic illnesses, people are making many fundraisers on sites like Gofundme, YouCaring, Indiegogo and Give Forward,  The problem is there are so many fundraisers now. They are usually posted in groups of people who are already struggling and get ignored.

I am writing this with my experience of the two things that have worked the most for me to raise a little extra money.  Even if you are disability you are allowed to make a little extra money. Here are two ways that help me each month. Neither will make you rich, but both ways help to add to your monthly budget.

For both of these all you need is a way to access the internet.

(Best to do on a desktop or laptop computer)

Zazzle is a website that allows you to design shirts, coffee mugs, key chains and an endless amount of items with your own photos, text or art. Be creative, you can pick a niche such as making Lyme disease awareness items, or you can use it like a fundraiser and post text like, “Buying this button will help Audrey get Lyme Disease Treatment.”

All you have to do is create, and share on social media. Zazzle does the rest. They make the product and ship it. Then you get a small commission.

Here are some examples of items you could make to raise money for yourself.

The second way I make a little extra each month is by using Swagbucks. Swagbucks pays you in gift cards. You can take surveys, watch videos, or do any number of tasks to earn points. Each “Swagbuck” is worth a penny. As you watch videos, take surveys they start to add up. After getting a certain amount of points you then trade them in for gift cards.  They have a lot of options for gift cards, such as Amazon, Ebay, or even sending the money right to Paypal.
You can even earn extra points for getting “referrals,” for example this is my link, if you click on this and sign up and earn points I will get points too and you will get an extra bonus: http://www.swagbucks.com/refer/wheresthekarma

I hope these will help you. I have tried many things to earn a couple bucks here and there but these are the two things I have stuck with over the years and I do them all from bed. With so many people coming to this site asking for help, and not being able to direct them anywhere
I am sharing them in hopes that these will help you too. Let us know what has worked for you down in the comments below.
