Gerald Clair Beiswenger RIP 2/17/2018

Gerald Clair Beiswenger

September 27, 1950 – February 17, 2018

Our prayers and condolences go out to the family and friends of Jerry.

From his obituary: Gerald (Jerry) Beiswenger, 67, of Altoona, went home to be with the Lord Saturday, February 17, 2018, at his residence, after a courageous battle with tick paralysis. He passed peacefully with his wife and three daughters by his side. He was born in Altoona, son of the late Clair and Marie Grace (Montler)  Beiswenger. He married Diane Kearns April 24, 1972, in Winchester VA.

From his Daughter,

Dad (Gerald Clair Beiswenger, or Jerry for short) went home to be with his Lord and Savior, Jesus Christ on Saturday, February 17, 2018, at 3:04 p.m. He died from tick paralysis. Dad was a born-again Christian who loved Jesus with his whole heart and he was such a good man. We will all miss him very much. Everyone loved him. He had such a good sense of humor and always, ALWAYS gave to other people.

He gave of his time and effort to help others. Whether it came to fixing someone’s electronics, plumbing, giving good advice, or telling a joke to put a smile on someone’s face. He would even help complete strangers. He died in the place he wanted to be most…home…with his family. But it’s ok because we will see him again one day. Because he is in heaven doing things that he could never do here on earth, God did answer my prayers and that was to give dad back everything he lost and then some.

In the meantime, the medical bills are piling up on top of some of our old bills that we didn’t get the chance to pay off from before his most recent hospital visit. Please give your most generous donation. Thank you and God bless.
Help spread the word.
