Jenna Wright: Inspirational Advocate

Each day of May for Lyme Awareness Month in 2015, would like to recognize someone in the Lyme community that has done something to try to help the Lyme community. There are several “unsung heroes” in our community and we would  like to just offer them a little recognition and make sure that their achievements and efforts don’t go  unnoticed.

Today we are honoring Jenna Wright

Some of you might know Jenna through the teleconference calls she does with Jenny Rush. But she does a lot more too. Jenna has a heart of gold and shares her own journey and experience in healing to help other patients through a very positive online presence, counseling and personal couching.

Jenna tells us a little about herself.

“The calls I do with Jenny are a “from the heart” free service, like Jenny, to the community, especially to those who no longer have funds for support. I keep my individual coaching fees lower for the population with limited funds and is unable to afford multiple professionals and services. The teleconferences and my social media accounts provide information to all and there is always an opportunity for those who are lacking funds, to read, engage and apply via these outlets.

I’ve been coaching privately and in Drs offices for close to 15 years. I come from a medical/service oriented family and advocating is in my genes, so to speak. I’ve helped open clinics, integrated medical practices, hired and trained medical staff within many specialities from Alzheimer’s care, mental health, conventional medicine and to functional medicine.

I’ve been in the medical arena, either administratively or as a holistic/Integrated coach most of my adult life. Presently, my clients are predominantly persons living with chronic illness and my network of physicians with whom I collaborate is continually expanding.
I expect to have to increase coaching staff this year, especially within Care Coordination, as there is a huge need for coaches to help bridge the connection between patients and their doctors/practitioners.

I try to stay active via social media to share hope, information, resources and to connect with physicians and practitioners for education and to combine efforts in understanding chronic illnesses and promoting healing within those communities.
