Patrick Haley RIP 11/7/2017

Patrick Haley RIP

So sad to hear of the passing of Patrick Haley. He was a good friend to so many in the Lyme community. I haven’t gotten details from the family yet of what happened, and as I do I will add them here.

But I will share of story of how giving Patrick is. I had talked to him several times on the phone after becoming friends through Facebook. When we finally met face to face Patrick said, I have something for you… for my birthday. He handed me a teapot. The lid was taped on. When I got home and opened that teapot it was full of dollar coins. Over $200 worth. He did that, just for the heck of it.

That was many years ago but I still have this teapot sitting in my kitchen and think of Patrick daily. Now it will be even more special. ♥

My condolences go out to Patrick’s family and friends.

I just know that Patrick and Doc H are up in Heaven fishing right now!

A memorial service will be held on Friday, November 17, 2017 at Holly Funeral Home in Waupaca beginning at 1:30 P.M. with Pastor Rich Engel officiating. Visitation will be from 12:00 P.M. until the time of services. Burial will take place following the service at the Central Wisconsin Veteran’s Cemetery in Waupaca, WI. Here is Patrick’s Obituary.

  1. I am very saddened to read the news about Patrick. We met years ago in a couple of groups and although we weren’t close friends who chatted everyday, Patrick never failed to leave a sweet and positive comment on my posts. He was a true gentleman who was kind, noble and sweet. RIP Pat, you will be missed!

  2. Patrick, I didn’t know you but from what I read it sounds like you want a very special person too many people. Prayers are with your family. You can rest in peace, and not be in any pain. Thank you for touching so many lives. I only wish I could have known you.❤👣❤

  3. So sorry. This shouldn’t be happening. You Patrick are the reason I will never stop trying to raise awareness about Lyme disease. Rest in peace. No more pain.

  4. Patrick my friend, you will be missed. I remember a few times when I posted pictures from the Harbor, you commented you were going to come hang with me, when you got an electric wheelchair. I was looking forward to that. Please say hi to Doc for me.

  5. He was my best friend. We fought like brothers and sisters do. But we loved each other regardless. Sending love to the people he loved and touched. He helped so many people, one of the most honorable people I knew. Love you Patrick, I know your looking down here on all of us.
