Randy Garvin RIP

Randy Garvin

Sept 20,1981 – Dec 8,2016

The Lyme community is at such a loss today after hearing the passing of our very much loved Randy Garvin. Randy, buddy, we will miss you dearly. His mom said he passed away in his sleep from Late Stage Chronic Lyme Disease complications at 35 years old. I know you were loved by many.

I had the pleasure of meeting Randy at one of the Mayday Protests in Washington DC.  He was the sweetest guy. I am so sad to hear of his passing.

As I hear more from his family and friends I will keep this page updated. I also would like to invite Randy’s friends and families to add to this page. Send me any pictures, or tributes you would like me to add here.

  1. I would love to be in a Lyme group for parents who have lost a child to this horrible disease. It is so devastating.

  2. It’s devastating to lose a loved one. It’s so sad there’s no help and recognition of this horrendous disease. My daughter and i are living and battling with it. There’s been times I’ve felt it would be more humane to die, but I’m so scared for my daughter too. I’m so sorry for ur sad loss.

  3. Randy was a great friend to our family before Lyme diisease and during Lyme disease. My daughter Stephanie has been friends with Randy since JR. High School. In High School they did Cheerleading together. What a wonderful person, When my son, Stephanie’s brother Joshua passed Randy was there for our Family. We always Laughed when Randy was around, Our family will miss you very much. Much love The McNabb and Gash’s.

  4. Although I didn’t know Randy personally. Randy’s father Bob, was a great source of information and support via Facebook when I was first diagnosed with Lyme. Condolences to the entire family.

  5. Randy was a great researcher and kind enough to be very helpful on lyme disease forums. He will be missed. Thoughts and prayers for him and his family at this time.

  7. RIP buddy and I know you are no longer suffering. I was hoping we both would have made it out of this shit disease in the end but God has other plans.
