On May 10 & 11th, the United States held several protests to raise awareness for Lyme Disease. They were 1 in 30 countries to protest on this weekend for the Worldwide Lyme Disease Awareness Protest. There were so many events that we have not even counted yet as news is still coming in from different states that did them.
As the US coordinator, I have to thank each and every state coordinator and volunteer that helped make this event such a success. Each person was sick with tick-borne infections, but still pulled the strength together to put together an event in their state to help others. Thank you to all who pulled this together and thank you to all who showed up at these events. I know either job is hard when you feel like you can’t even get out of bed each morning. I can’t thank you enough.
Thank you to all the Lyme foundations who helped us too:
LDUC (Lyme Disease United Coalition)
