It was a murder/suicide that took the life of Whitney. Both her and her ex boyfriend had Lyme disease. Was it caused by the rage Lyme disease induces? It would be speculation to say so.   This is the  news story  here. But a family friend sent this to us to post, as she was a precious member of our Lyme community so let’s focus on comforting her family and keeping her memory alive and not the “cause” of her death. Thank you.

Please visit her memorial page and leave condolences for her family.

  1. Such a tragedy to be taken by Lyme’s Disease in today’s world. With proper treatment she might of still been here. May God comfort her family & friends and wrap his loving arms around you Whitney. RIPS. We need total awareness and research for Lyme’s like any other disease.

  2. My sincerest sympathies to her family and friends. As a Lyme patient myself, I cry every time a Lyme patient loses their fight and it angers me that nothing more is being done. Rest in peace sweet angel!! <3

  3. Sending my sincerest condolences to all the family and friends of Whitney. It breaks my heart to hear of individuals loosing their lives to this disease and especially young people who have so much life left to live. As a Lyme patient myself, It really hits home when this happens and I really hope so much that Whitney is now at rest and free of suffering. May she rest in peace. 4. Prayers and condolences. 🙏💚As a fellow Lyme patient I feel very deeply for the loss of this young life. Age 25 is a terribly young age to die. 😓I am very saddened to read this. I pray Whitney is in a better place with no pain or bodily restrictions. She surely is an angel amongst angels. Deepest sympathies to family & friends.

  5. Please accept my condolences during this most difficult time of loss…sending prayers to your family….
